Most horse owners are familiar with the benefits of flax and rice bran in horses diets but these feedstuffs can come with risks such as rancidity and short shelf lives. Flax Oil comes with an Omega 6:3 ratio of 1:4 and Rice Bran oil comes with a ratio of 20.88:1. Smart Earth Seeds Camelina oil has a Omega 6:3 ratio of 1:1.2-1.6 making it the more balanced choice.
